- We want to know the important role and target group of the Family Development Department?

The Family Development Department aspires towards global leadership in Islamic work by implementing its programmes, projects and conferences. It also focuses on the family and the mother because it is the main pillar of the family, within distinct programs presented through a scientific methodology for the targeted segments of society, who are all family members.

To manage family development, an approved structure has two supervision and two divisions (the Free Studies Monitoring, under which 6 governorates fall – the Family Guidance Monitoring, under which the Childhood and Religious Orientation divisions fall – the Technical Office Department and finally the Administrative Support Department) and we will talk about each section briefly:

The Family Development Department aspires towards global leadership in Islamic work by implementing its programs, projects, and conferences. We start with childhood. It is one of the family guidance monitoring departments in the Family Development Department. It serves the age group from six to eleven years old. This section contributes to educating the child in various fields to complement the educational role of the institutions that contribute to this, providing the child with educational and psychological skills and strengthening the leadership spirit and unity. National. Technical office: conducting studies and research that contribute to developing the work of the administration and studying the problems facing the administration. Monitoring free studies: conducting courses and lectures in the manner of community service centers in Kuwait and continuing education that meet the educational, educational and training needs. Religious guidance: preparing plans and programs for awareness and Islamic guidance, developing the knowledge and skills of the women’s sector, preparing programs and decisions that call for directing energies and mobilizing the family’s material and human potential and making it serve development goals. Administrative support: receiving incoming correspondence to the administration, following up on administrative correspondence, supervising the follow-up of attendance and departure of employees, and all administrative matters related to employees.

What are the objectives that the administration hopes to achieve?

The Family Development Department aims to strengthen the Islamic and Arab cultural identity, provide women with Islamic culture, bring up children with an integrated Islamic upbringing, and prepare them for good citizenship.

What projects and programs has the administration achieved in recent years?
We start with childhood. It is one of the family guidance monitoring departments in the Family Development Department. It serves the age group from six to eleven years old. The work of the Family Development Department also continued under exceptional circumstances. Activities were implemented during the Corona pandemic. The program includes 9 lectures that reinforce the basic values that regulate the individual’s relationship with society through the program. The number of beneficiaries of the program reached 554 to monitor free studies. A lecture entitled (Professional Life Depends on You), and the Women and Children Forum under the slogan “Children and the World of Technology”, a forum aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of women and children and how to deal with children from a health and psychological point of view, was also implemented. ?), which aims to identify some of the ways and methods of serving the family in light of the Corona pandemic and beyond.

What are the ambitions that the administration seeks to achieve?

Raising the level of management by activating the role of the psychological, social and legal researcher, and following up and monitoring issues in the community through schools, universities, institutes and markets, strengthening the role of women in Kuwaiti society, our role now is to establish the Academy of Married Life and also the Center for Psychological and Social Counseling and everything concerned with the affairs of women, children and girls, We aim to develop and follow up in the coming period.

What are the obstacles facing the administration and preventing it from achieving its ambitions?

God willing, there are no obstacles, everything is fine.
